Research That Creates Relationships
The Pathways Opportunity Council is a sponsor-funded research initiative that produces workforce inclusion studies on topics the industry talks about but rarely measures. Current and upcoming research tracks span veterans and military spouse hiring, women returning to the workforce, neurodiverse and disabled workforce integration, over-50 hiring, system-affected workforce reintegration, agentic AI's impact on contingent workforce orchestration, and reshoring workforce readiness.
How It Works

Sponsors join the Council and gain access to research findings, co-branding rights on published studies, and participation in working groups that shape the research agenda. The model creates a non-sales relationship between Defiant and enterprise buyers that frequently evolves into consulting engagements.

This is workforce inclusion with a business model, not a charity.
